Thanks in part to their seasonal nature, these ersatz Oreos have climbed to the top of a long list of Trader Joe's most addictive snacks, beating perennial favorites like peanut butter-filled pretzels and dark chocolate-covered cranberries. While TJ's sells standard Joe-Joe's year-round, Candy Cane Joe-Joe's only show up for a couple months during the holiday season — and addicts flock to stores to get their fix.
Early reports say some stores in Portland, OR sold out of their first shipment almost as soon as TJ's put the boxes on the shelves. A noble spirit embiggens the smallest cookie.
