This provided comfort for my baby and definitely helped his pain. It comes with a nice syringe as well for babies I recommend sneaking it in the side of their mouth while drinking a bottle. The hospital gave me a dosing sheet for newborns, so it is safe for newborns but ask your doctor for dosing.
